30, 2011Emily, I saw a widespread reuse of those omnenrisept water bottles in Peru: rather than tossing them intoa0landfill, the communities in the floating villages on Lake Titicaca collect bottles from all the passing tourists and tradersa0to fill their woven-reed boats and other floating infrastructure. It makes for long-lasting buoyancy and reduces the use of the reed root blocksa0as floatation devices. Obviously in Sydney, a campaign to reduce water bottle consumption is well-targeted, but in other areas where it is harder to affect behaviour or wherea0clean tap water isn’t available,a0such practical and community-initiated alternatives are inspiring!a0(To illustrate, I’ve attached a photo from Google Images, as I don’t have my travel shots to hand.)

If nothing else, it means that we have pltney of time to not fall behind on Gunota Girl .And although I can’t recall seeing a really popular manga take breaks as frequently as Silver Spoon, Arakawa-sensei is, of course, a special case. I’m sure that she has pltney of leeway to care for her new baby, just because of the ridiculous success of FMA. It’s probably a big deal for the magazine to simply be publishing someone so famous, so I imagine they’re pretty nice to her.
Not that bad
